Who Are INITA?
The Independent National Inspection and Testing Association
INITA is a professional trade association representing the specific interests of engineer surveyors and small inspection businesses, operating independently, within the UK engineering in-service inspection industry.
What We Do?
- Raising the standards in statutory compliance examination and testing of engineering plant and equipment across the inspection industry
- Staging meetings and seminars with invited guest speakers from the Health and Safety Executive and other trade bodies to make topical presentations to the membership
- Providing support, and professional development training opportunities for the benefit of the membership
- Providing opportunities for the membership to share inspection service resources, as a result of varying workloads
- Hosting regular meetings enabling members to share information and discuss current issues of concern to engineer surveyors
